Google Pro Tip: Use "before:2023" at the beginning of search string (twitter.com/elonmusk)

For me, the worst part is how search engines generally disadvantage small sites, which are the places where the biggest gems are published.

For example, I've grown tired of looking for sites that I used to easily find on the first page with just a handful of keywords; now it's just garbage.

I've been using Kagi, which has slightly better results than Google.

Also: “-site:twitter.com”

Ha!

Although, maybe now -site:x.com

I'll stop dead-naming his social media train-wreck when he stops dead-naming his offspring!

Less deliberately dickishly: x.com currently just redirects to twitter.com so for the time being blocking x.com in searches will do nothing.

Musk tweeting a screenshot of a mastodon post tells you all you need to know about the end of Twitter's hegemony.
